The 118th edition of the Tour of Lombardy will be held on Saturday 12 October. The fifth of cycling’s five Monuments is the last illustrious European race of the season. Given the time of year, Il Lombardia has been nicknamed the Race of the Falling Leaves. Travelling from Bergamo to Como, this year’s route adds up to 252 kilometres with over 4,800 metres of elevation gain. (Slideshow route/profile)
