The 114th edition of the Tour of Lombardy is held on Saturday 15 August. The race amounts to 243 kilometres, while taking in an elevation gain of more than 4,000 metres. Normally, the fifth of cycling’s five Monuments is the last illustrious European race of the season, but since the cycling calendar has been been re-arranged due to COVID-19 Il Lombardia is the second Monument.
