Tour of Flanders 2018
Niki Terpstra soloed to victory in the 102nd edition of the Tour of Flanders. Mads Pedersen and Philippe Gilbert rounded out the podium. As always, the grueling race was teeming with short, sharp and often cobbled climbs. The 2018 Tour of Flanders was played out on April 1st.

The Tour of Flanders takes place on Resurrection Sunday - an apt combination. At 266.5 kilometres, the race takes in eighteen hills and five stretches of pavé. Niki Terpstra goes after the front group on the Kruisberg with 28 kilometres to go. He gobbles up the leaders before he continues solo. He wins in brilliant style, while 22-year old Mads Pedersen comes in second and Philippe Gilbert sprints to third place.Read more »

Philippe Gilbert and Greg Van Avermaet were the Classics masters in 2017. The Walloon soloed to victory in the Tour of Flanders, while his Flemish compatriot went on to win a three-up sprint the following week in Paris-Roubaix.
