Alexandar Richardson, Harry Birchill en Jack Rootkin-Gray rejoin the remaining attackers Sessler and Tanfield inside the last 40 kilometres. Jumbo-Visma does not approve and brings it back.
Title defender Gonzalo Serrano strikes with 20 kilometres to go. Connor Swift, Nils Politt, Matthew Bostock, Nathan Van Hooydonck, Tim Naberman, Nicolò Parisini and Rasmus Tiller rejoin him before Politt and Bostock head out together.
The peloton reels in the duo inside the last 7 kilometres before Wout van Aert leads out GC leader Olav Kooij to take his third sprint victory in three days time.
