The 79th edition of the Tour of Britain is headlined by Geraint Thomas and Chris Froome. The race takes place from the 2nd of September until the 9th of September, 2018. Whinlatter Pass could be a decisive factor as both the team time trial on the fifth day of action and the race’s only summit finish on the next day end atop the mountain pass in the English Lake District. The other stages are played out on flat to hilly terrain, while the traditional London criterium will be closing out the week. (Slideshow route/profile)
