Tour de Romandie 2023 Route stage 5: Vufflens-la-Ville - Geneva

Tour de Romandie 2023Sunday 29 April - The last stage of the Tour de Romandie is 170.9 kilometres long and goes from Vufflens-la-Ville to Geneva. Either a bunch sprint or a victor from the breakaway are to be expected.

Vufflens-la-Ville lies just north of Lausanne. The shortest route to Geneva is 60 kilometres, but the riders take a detour to add 110 kilometres to it. Two intermediate climbs appear after the midway marker. The first one is 5.8 kilometres long and averaging 7.4%, the second 3.7 kilometres at 6.3%.

The last 30 kilometres ogf the race are as good as flat.

Geneva saw three Tour de Romandie stage finishes since 2016. Which resulted in stage wins for Primoz Roglic (2019, ITT), Pascal Ackermann (2018, bunch sprint) and Michael Albasini (2016, sprint of a select group).

The first three riders on the line gain time bonuses of 10, 6 and 4 seconds.
