The 74th Tour de Romandie is on the calendar from Tuesday 27 April to Sunday 2 May. The Swiss race dates back to 1947, while the 2021 edition includes an elevation gain of 13,080 metres. The Queen Stage on the penultimate day finishes atop a 20 kilometres climb. The race kicks off with a prologue to conclude with an individual time trial. (Slideshow route/profile)
Primoz Roglic is title holder. The Slovenian powerhouse won the 2019 edition, while pocketing three stages along the way. The 2020 edition was cancelled due to the spread of the coronavirus.
