Last year, Jasper Philipsen sprinted to his second sprint victory on the Champs-Élysées. He succeeded his compatriot Wout van Aert, who took the win in 2021.
Another Champs-Élysées sprint finish is next to certain. Le Tour finished with a fast finishers showdown for 17 years in a row and there is no reason to expect a different outcome on Sunday 23 July.
