Tour de France 2021: Results
fotobureau Cor VosTadej Pogacar won the 108th edition of the Tour de France ahead of Jonas Vingegaard and Richard Carapaz. The Slovene climbed into the yellow jerseyin the stage to Le Grand-Bornand and gradually extended his lead. Mark Cavendish took four sprint triumhs and matched Eddy Merkcx’ all time record of 34 stage wins at the Tour de France. The race started on Saturday 26 June 2021 in Brest, Brittany, to finish in Paris on 18 July.

Van Aert wins at Champs-Élysées, GC triumph Pogacar
Wout van Aert storms to victory in Paris, while Tadej Pogacar seals his third Tour triumph in a row. Jonas Vingegaard and Richard Carapaz round out the podium.
Van Aert wins Bordeaux ITT, Pogacar seals GC triumph
Wout van Aert wins the individual time trial on the rolling course through the vineyards of the Bordeaux. Tadej Pogacar finishes in eight position and takes the GC, while Jonas Vingegaard comes home third and ends Le Tour in second position. Richard Carapaz rounds out the Paris podium.
Second solo triumph Mohoric in Libourne
A huge breakaway takes shape midway through the 19th stage of the Tour. Matej Mohoric strikes with 24 kilometres and the Slovene solos to victory. His compatriot Tadej Pogacar, who crosses the line almost 21 minutes later in the peloton, keeps the yellow jersey.
Pogacar wins in Luz-Ardiden
Tadej Pogacar, Jonas Vingegaard, Richard Carapaz, Sepp Kuss and Enric Mas are leading the race in the last climbing kilometres of the Tour de France. Mas strikes in the last kilometre, but the yellow jersey brings him back and storms to his third stage win.
Pogacar wins at Portet to cement lead
Tadej Pogacar, Jonas Vingegaard and Richard Carapaz set the tone on the Col du Portet. The yellow jersey strikes inside the last hundred metres to take the win ahead of Vingegaard and Carapaz.
