Tour de France 2019: Results
Egan Bernal won the 106th edition of the Tour de France, while Geraint Thomas and Steven Kruijswijk rounded out the podium in Paris. Caleb Ewan sprinted to three victories. Simon Yates and Julian Alaphilippe both won two stages.

Bernal takes yellow in shortened race
The action-packed 19th stage comes suddenly to a halt in the descent of the Col de l'Iseran. The times at the summit are taken, as the weather conditions in Val d'Isère are dangerous. Egan Bernal wins the shortened race and will be the new maillot jaune ahead of Julian Alaphilippe and Geraint Thomas.Read more »
Quintana solos to victory, Alaphilippe retains lead
Nairo Quintana wins the first stage in the Alps with an impressive solo. The Colombian was part of the early break. He attacked on the Galibier to continue in the descent to the stage win. Julian Alaphilippe holds on to the yellow jersey, while Egan Bernal is the only GC rider to gain time and he moves up to second place overall.Read more »
Trentin solos to victory, Alaphilippe stays in yellow
The 17th stage of the Tour runs on rolling roads to the Col de la Sentinelle. Early attacker Trentin goes solo just before the 5.2 kilometres climb and the Italian solos to victory. Asgreen crosses the line in second and Van Avermaet in third. The peloton finishes after 20 minutes with race leader Alaphilippe on board.Read more »
