Tour de France 2015: Results
The 2015 Tour de France started on July 4th in Utrecht, the Netherlands, and finished on July 26th in Paris. Chris Froome took the overal, while André Greipel won the most stages: 4. Nairo Quintana was the best youngster and Peter Sagan was the best rider in the points classification.

Greipel wins at Champ-Élysées
In the finale stage the sprinter in the 2015 Tour de France André Greipel sprints to victory, with Bryan Coquard finishing second. Chris Froome takes the GC, Nairo Quintana is the best youngster, while Peter Sagan wins the green jersey.

Pinot wins Clash of Titans, despite brave Quintana attack Froome takes overall
Stage 20 in the Tour de France 2015 is short and venomous with two hors catégorie cols. Thibaut Pinot is strongest and he holds off a brave Nairo Quintana attack. The Colombian forces Chris Froome to a huge effort, but the Briton stands his ground and he wins the Tour de France 2015.

Nibali wins majestic mountain stage
In 138 kilometres stage 19 brings four tough cols, one horse catégorie, while the closing climb to La Tousuirre is 19 kilometres. Vincenzo Nibali is super strong and after an attack at the Col de la Croix de Fer he powers to the win. Quintana sets the race on fire in the last kilometers and puts half a minute into leader Chris Froome.

Bardet 'exceptionnel' winner
Stage 18 features seven cols, including the famous Glandon. Romain Bardet is the first to crest the famous peak and in the descent he powers to an advantage that's big enough for the win. He consolidates at the steep Lacets de Montvernier and soloes to the win. The French party is compete with Rolland finishing second. Bonus for Bardet is he enters the top-10, plus he shares the polka dot jersey with his break away companion Joaquim Rodriguez.

Geschke wins in Pra-Loup after 50 km's solo
Stage 17 is a spectacle starting with a battle to be in the break. And not without reason. Simon Geschke is one of the early attackers and he takes an impressive victory home after a 50 kilometres solo over two mountains. Froome cements his lead with Contador crashing in the downhill of the Col d'Allos, while Van Garderen abandons.
