Tour de France 2014
Saturday, July 5th, the 2014 Tour de France starts in Leeds, United Kingdom as the first of three stages held on English soil.
It seems fitting given that riders representing Britain have won the last two additions. Also, sprint ace Mark Cavendish will be eyeing up stage wins on home soil and a possible stint in the yellow jersey.
As for Chris Froome, he will fancy his chances of retaining the title on what looks like a climber's course. He will have tough competition however with Alberto Contador out for revenge after his failed Tour of 2013 and Vincenzo Nibali stating his goal for the year in no uncertain terms.
