Race report
Bernard, Hagen, Oomen, Arensman, Vansevenant, Seigle, Vincent, Bagioli, Barta, Rosskopf, Zimmermann and Würtz open up a gap of 3 minutes. But the race ignites quite early and the lead group disintegrates.

Andrea Bagioli is the only remaining leader over the Col de la Biche and Julien Bernard rejoins him a little later.

The leading duo is brought back with 14 kilometres to climb on the Grand Colombier.

Bernal seems to be suffering inside the last 6 kilometres. He is isolated while leader Roglic is still surrounded by four men.

Jumbo-Visma sets the pace, although Porte tries several times to break free. When Bernal gives it a shot in the last kilometre Roglic is on his wheel in no time to leave the Colombian in the last few hundred metres. The Slovenian champions takes his second consecutive stage win and he wins the GC.
