Race report
Straight from the gun Maestri, Rojas, Ballerini, Quintana (Dayer), King, Van Hoecke and Boev jump clear to carve out a gap of more than 3 minutes.
Rojas and Ballerini head out together inside the last 20 kilometres before they are brought back with 4 kilometres remaining.
Richeze delivers a perfect lead-out, but not for his normal leader Viviani. The Italian is further back and Alaphilippe takes the reins. The Frenchman storms to his second victory in this year's Tirreno. Cimolai comes home second, Viviani third.
Yates retains leader. He holds a 25 seconds lead over Roglic ahead of the pan-flat ITT on the last day of action. Jakob Fuglsang is third at 35 seconds.
