Michal Kwiatkowski won the 53rd edition of the Tirreno-Adriatico ahead of Damiano Caruso and Geraint Thomas. Marcel Kittel pocketed most stages, namely two. The race was played out from the 7th March until the 13th of March 2018.

Landa wins Queen Stage, Caruso new leader
The Queen Stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico takes in a string of intermediate hills to end with a 13.1 kilometres closing climb at 7.1% to the Sassotetto ski resort. Chris Froome is dropped in the finale, while leader Geraint Thomas loses time due to a mechanical. Mikel Landa wins ahead of Rafal Majka and George Bennett. Damiano Caruso moves into the overall and Thomas drops to fifth place.Read more »
Roglic wins on steep wall, Thomas new leader
At 239 kilometres, the Tirreno-Adriatico's 3rd stage is played out on a hilly route with a punchy finale. Primoz Roglic attacks with 1,4 kilometres to go and survives ramps up to 20% just to take the win. Adam Yates comes in second, Tiesj Benoot in third. Geraint Thomas finishes fourth to move into the overall lead.Read more »
