Race report
Anna Plichta, Carla Oberholzer, Anna Kiesenhofer, Vera Looser and Omer Shapira attack early on to carve out a lead of more than 10 minutes.

Looser and Oberholzer lose contact in the Doushi Road climb.

Annemiek van Vleuten attacks with 55 kilometres remaining, while Kiesenhofer goes solo on the Kagosaka Pass.

An elite group brings Van Vleuten back inside the last 28 kilometres.

Kiesenhofer crosses the line for the first time with a lead of 2 minutes over Plichta and Shapira, while the main group is 2 minutes further behind.

The group gobbles up Plichta and Shapira with 6 kilometres remaining. Van Vleuten strikes approximately 3 kilometres later and Longo Borghini goes after her.

Kiesenhofer forges on to take the best win in her career. Van Vleuten takes silver, Longo Borghini bronze.
