Strade Bianche 2020The 14th edition of the Strade Bianche was scheduled for Saturday 7 March 2020, but the race was cancelled due to the risks involved with the coronavirus outbreak in Italy. On 4 March, the Italian government introduced a halt of one month to all events which cannot be held in a closed arena. The organisation is looking into options for the race to take place on a later date, possibly in June or September. (Slideshow route/profile)

Julian Alaphilippe won the 2019 edition of the Strade Bianche ahead of Jakob Fuglsang. The Frenchman bested the Dane in a thrilling finale in Siena, while Wout Van Aert rounded out the podium.
