Renewi Tour 2023: The Route
The 1st stage travels from Blankenberge to Ardooie, which was a staple in the Renewi Tour's predecessors. Usually it came down to a bunch sprint, which is also the expected outcome this time. Stage 2 is just as flat, but the winner will not be a spinter, as this is an individual time trial.
The 3rd stage is the Renewi Tour's take on the Tour of Flanders. Following a series of - often cobbled - climb, the race finishes halfway up the Wall of Geraardsbergen on a 500 metres climb at 5%.
On the 4th stage it’s back to the fast men before the final stage is a lumpy race with 13 short climb. The last one is the Kleiberg, a hill that's ramps up to 12% and is crested with almost 5 kilometres left to race.
