Paris - Roubaix Femmes 2026: Route

Paris-Roubaix Femmes 2026 Sunday 12 April – Paris–Roubaix Femmes features three more cobbled sectors than in previous editions. Over 143.1 kilometres, the riders tackle twenty ‘secteurs’, adding extra intensity to the race.

Although the route is shorter than the men’s, it actually features a higher proportion of cobbled sectors. Where the men take roughly 100 kilometres to reach the first pavé, the women hit cobbles after just 30 kilometres. Around 30 kilometres and two sectors later, they arrive on the cobbles between Hornaing and Wandignies, from where they follow exactly the same roads the men rode earlier in the day.

Almost every 6 kilometres brings a new ‘secteur’. The Forest of Wallers may be missing from the women’s race, but Mons-en-Pévèle is certainly on the menu, with its 2,985-metre-long challenge. After that sector, there are just under 50 kilometres to go.

Following Mons-en-Pévèle, the next 30 kilometres take the riders over Mérignies à Avelin (700 metres), Pont-Thibault à Ennevelin (1,400 metres), Templeuve à L’Epinette (200 metres), Templeuve à Moulin-de-Vertain (500 metres), Cysoing à Bourghelles (1,300 metres), Bourghelles à Wannehain (1,100 metres) and Camphin-en-Pévèle (1,800 metres).

Almost immediately after Camphin-en-Pévèle comes the Carrefour de l’Arbre. This sector is over 2 kilometres of brutal cobbles, and the steep, tricky corners make it even more demanding. Riders who arrive at the smooth asphalt beyond in a good position are in a good place, as the hard work is done after Carrefour de l’Arbre.

In the final 15 kilometres, Paris–Roubaix throws in three more cobbled sectors, but they are relatively easy to navigate.

Last year, Emma Norsgaard broke away from a reduced peloton with around 35 kilometres to go. Roughly 10 kilometres later, Pauline Ferrand-Prévot launched the chase. The eventual Tour de France winner quickly caught Norsgaard and left her behind on the cobbles of Camphin-en-Pévèle. She steadily increased her lead and crossed Carrefour de l’Arbre 1 minute ahead of the first chasers – more than enough to take the victory.
