Race report
Sébastien Grignard, Mathis Le Berre, Luke Durbridge, Casper Pedersen, Max Walker and Patrick Gamper are the first escapees in Paris-Nice.
The six riders open up a gap of a minute and a half, but it doesn’t grow much further. They’re caught with 2 km to go in Carrières-sous-Poissy, and then it's up to the fast men.
In the sprint, Biniam Girmay is boxed in, while the opposite is true for Luke Lamperti. With a final lead-out from teammate Marijn van den Berg, the American sprints clear to take both the stage and the first yellow jersey.
