La Course 2020

Lizzie Deignan won the 7th edition of La Course. She was the fastest rider in a group of six, while Marianne Vos and Demi Vollering rounded out the podium. The race was played out on a hilly circuit in and around Nice in Saturday 29 August.

Lizzie Deignan wins six-up sprint

At the end of a hilly edition of La Course Lizzie Deignan bests Marianne Vos in a millimetre sprint. Demi Vollering rounds out the podium, while Katarzyna Niewiadoma, Annemiek van Vleuten and Elisa Longo Borghini were also part of the lead group.

The Route

La Coursee 2020

Saturday 29 August - La Course by Le Tour de France, as the race is officially called, takes place on a circuit through the hinterland of the Côte d'Azur. Start and finish are in Nice, while the race is 96 kilometres and features two climbs.

Who are riding La Course? Of course former winner (twice), Giro-winner (twice), World Champion and European Champion Annemiek van Vleuten is among the most prominent contenders.
