Jai Hindley won the 105th edition of the Giro d’Italia ahead of Richard Carapaz and Mikel Landa. The Australian won the Blockhaus stage on the end of the first week and climbed into pink on the last mountain stage. As always, most high altitude races were packed inside the final week. The 2022 Giro kicked into gear on Friday 6 May and finished on Sunday the 29th.
