The 102nd edition of the Giro d’Italia starts on May 11th in Bologna and is expected to finish on June 2nd in Verona – although the arrival place has yet to be confirmed. The start list will feature 22 teams with eight riders. Following his victory in the 2018 Vuelta a España, Simon Yates said he would like to go back to the Giro because of ‘unfinished business’. Obviously he referred to the penultimate mountain stage to the Jafferau, when Yates crumbled after thirteen days in the pink jersey. (Slideshow route/profile)
