1. Vuelta 2024: Sprint triumph Bittner in Seville, Roglic still leader

   The flattest stage of the entire Vuelta comes down to an expected bunch sprint in which young Pavel Bittner outpowers Wout van Aert with a small margin. Primoz Roglic retains the red jersey ahead of João Almeida and Enric Mas.

2. Vuelta 2024 Route stage 5: Fuente del Maestre - Seville

   Wednesday 21 August - The riders travel from one sun scorched region to the next in the 5th stage of La Vuelta. The race sets off from Fuente del Maestre in Extremadura to finish Andalucia. In Seville, to be precise. The route adds up to 177 kilometres.

3. Vuelta 2024 Favourites stage 5: For fast men #3

   The 5th stage of the Vuelta features almost 1,700 meters of climbing in the first 125 kilometers. After that, there is a 20 kilometres downhill before the course flattens to skate level in the last 30 kilometres. Which is great for the sprinters.

4. Vuelta 2024: Moniquet remains KOM leader

   The 5th stage of La Vuelta has zero KOM points available in the battle for the polka dot jersey. So Sylvain Moniquet Moniquet stays in the polka dots without having to fight for it.
