2. Vuelta 2022 Route stage 12: Salobreña - Peñas Blancas

   Thursday 1 september - La Vuelta re-enters the mountains on stage 12. Or should we say mountain? The predominantly flat stage along the Spanish south coast adds up to 192.7 kilometres and finishes at the 19 kilometres long Peñas Blancas climb.

3. Vuelta 2022 Favourites stage 12: All out on finish climb

   Stage 12 runs almost entirely along the Spanish south coast. The route is flat to undulating, until the finish climb kicks in. The Peñas Blancas is 19 kilometres long and the average gradient sits at 6.7%. Attackers or GC riders?
