1. Vuelta 2020: Cort sprints to triumph, Roglic cements lead

   Rémi Cavagna is the attacker of the day, but a reduced peloton brings the soloist back with 2 kilometres left. In the ensuing sprint Magnus Cort outguns Primoz Roglic and Dion Smith. The Slovene takes 6 bonus second to cement his lead.

   Friday 6 November - At 162 kilometres, the 16th stage of La Vuelta travels from Salamanca to Ciudad Rodrigo. A demanding route with most elevation in the middle section is likely to favour attackers.

   The 16th stage of la Vuelta serves two big climbs in a lumpy route. Probably, the route is not hard enough for GC contenders to put pressure on one another, so chances are that the breakaway will be successful.

5. Vuelta 2020: Martin wins KOM classification

   Guillaume Martin seals the KOM triumph at La Vuelta without taking any points in stage 16. The Frenchman leads the competition 55 points ahead of Tim Wellens, which is more than the available points in the remaining climbs.
