1. Vuelta 2020 Route stage 1: Irún - Santuario de Arrate

   Tuesday 20 October - La Vuelta begins in style in the mountainous Basque Country. Starting in Irún, on the French/Spanish border, the race travels to a steep summit finish near Sanctuary of Arrate. The route adds up to 173 kilometres.

2. Vuelta 2020 Favourites stage 1: GC Punchers for first red jersey

   The finale of the 1st stage of the Vuelta is a steep climb before and undulating plateau of 2 kilometres. Chances are that the GC contenders will dive right into it.
