1. Vuelta 2019: Valverde wins at Mas de la Costa, López regains red jersey

   The 7th stage boils down to a GC clash on the Mas de la Costa, a Wall of 4,1 kilometres at 12.3%. Valverde outguns Roglic, López and Quintana on the line, while López moves back into the race lead. Yet, the gaps are small.

2. Vuelta 2019 KOM classification stage 7: Madrazo stays in the lead

   The 7th stage on La Vuelta includes five classified ascents. Although Ángel Madrazo was not part of the breakaway, the Spaniard stays in the KOM lead, although he loses 4 points for trailing. Sergio Henao moves up to second place.

3. Vuelta 2019 Points classification stage 7: Quintana moves into the green jersey

   Nairo Quintana regains the green jersey at the Mas de la Costa finish. Primoz Roglic sits in second, while Sam Bennett drops back to third place.

4. Vuelta 2019 Route stage 7: Onda – Mas de la Costa

   Friday 30 August - La Vuelta's 7th stage travels over five mountains from Onda to Mas de la Costa. The distance is 183.2 kilometres and the last climb is a monster with ramps up to 21%.

   The 7th stage of the Vuelta a España pretends to be a sprint stage in the first half. Then the route turns inland to tackle four intermediate climbs and an extremely challenging uphill finish.
