Vuelta 2015 stage 13: Oliveira soloes to victory

Stage 13 is a hilly ride taking the riders in 178 kilometres from Calatayud to Tarazona. In between are two 3rd category climbs and one 1st category climb, making the stage a chance for escapees. And it is. Nelson Oliveira leaves the front group with 30 kilometres left and soloes to the win. Aru retains the overall lead.

Friday, September 4, 2015 - The 13th stage takes the riders in 178 hilly kilometres from Calatayud to Tarazona. No flat metre in sight, but no steep one either. The biggest obstacle is Alto de Beraton, a 2nd category climb unlikely to effect the stage-win since it is too far from the finish.

Vuelta 2015 Favourites stage 13: Up to the escapees

With three climbs and 177 kilometres in the saddle, stage 13 should be for the escapees. Time trialist Tom Dumoulin sais he would fight for stage-glory, who are his rivals?
