   Jai Hindley attacks from the breakaway in the last kilometres of the last climb of the day, the Col de Marie Blanque. The Australian solos to victory, while Jonas Vineggaard drops Tadej Pogacar to put more than 1 minute into his big rival.

3. Tour de France 2023 Favourites stage 5: Attackers in first mountain race

   Two big climbs and two smaller ones are on the menu, while the finish is situated 19 kilometres after the last summit. On paper a perfect chance for attackers, although it would be great if the GC riders go for it as well.

4. Tour de France 2023: Gall new KOM leader

   The first hors catégorie climb is included on the 5th stage of Le Tour. Felix Gall reaches the summit in first position and he moves into the lead of the KOM competition.
