1. Tour de France 2023: Izagirre wins from the breakaway, Vingegaard still leader

   Ion Izagirre strikes on the last climb of the day, Col de la Croix Rosier, and he solos to victory. Mathieu Burgaudeau outguns Matteo Jorgenson for the second place, whil Jonas Vingegaard retains the lead in the general classification.

   Thursday 13 July - The 12th stage of the Tour de France travels on hilly terrain from Roanne to Belleville-en-Beaujolais. The route adds up to 168.8 kilometres.

   Stage 12 on the Tour de France is similar to stage 10. So the riders with the same credentials will be eyeing their chances. The race travels from one major river, Loire, to the other, Rhône, and takes in an elevation gain of over 3,000 metres.
