1. Tour de France 2022: Jungels wins in Châtel, Pogacar stays in yellow

   Bob Jungels wins the first alpine stage of the Tour de France after a massive solo. Jonathan Castroviejo and Carlos Verona finish in second and third. Tadej Pogacar stays in yellow.

2. Tour de France 2022 Route stage 9: Aigle - Châtel

   Sunday 10 July - At 192.9 kilometres, the 9th stage on Le Tour travels from Aigle to Châtel. The riders tackle three intermediate climbs in the second half of the race before the finish runs slightly uphil.

3. Tour de France 2022 Favourites stage 9: Attackers in the Alps

   Stage 9 at Le Tour sets off from Switzerland to finish just across the border in France. Although the riders are traversing the Alps, the route is not overly hard. Which is good news for breakaway specialists.

4. Tour de France 2022: Geschke new KOM leader

   Simon Geschke is on the hunt for the polka dot jersey in stage 9, and he succeeds. The German leads the KOM classification 1 point ahead of stage winner Bob Jungels.

5. Tour de France 2022: Van Aert cements lead points competition

   Wout van Aert wins the intermediate sprint of stage 9 from the breakaway to extend his lead in the points classification.
