3. Ruta del Sol 2020: Fuglsang cements GC lead with Queen Stage victory

   The Queen Stage of the Ruta del Sol features an elevation gain of 3,160 metres. The riders tackle five intermediate climbs before the finale in Úbeda serves double digit ramps and cobbles. Jakob Fuglsang wins again to keep the overall race lead.

   The 2nd stage on the Ruta del Sol is played out on a lumpy route with a steep and narrow finale. Gonzalo attacks just before the flamme rouge and solos to victory, while Jakob Fuglsang keeps the race lead.

5. Ruta del Sol 2020: Fugslang bests Landa to take race lead

   The Ruta del Sol kicks off in style with a race for climbers. Mikel Landa and Jakob Fuglsang crest the last climb, Puerto de las Palomas, 53 seconds ahead of a chasing group. The Dane outguns the Basque on the uphill finish in Grazalema.

11. Ruta del Sol 2020 Route stage 3: Jaén - Úbeda

    Friday 21 February - The Ruta del Sol serves the Queen Stage on the third day of action. At 176.9 kilometres, the riders traverse five mountain passes before a technical finale in the old town of Úbeda. The elevation gain is 3,160 metres.

12. Ruta del Sol 2020 Route stage 4: Villanueva Mesía - Granada

    Saturday 22 February - The 4th stage of the Ruta del Sol is relatively short. At 125 kilometres, the route includes three ascents. The last one, Alto del Purche, precedes a 17.7 kilometres downhill into Granada.
