Giro 2025 stage 17

1. Giro 2025 Route stage 17: San Michele all’Adige - Bormio

   Wednesday, 28 May – Stage 17 of the Giro is a 155-kilometre ride from San Michele all’Adige to Bormio. After descending the Mortirolo – 12.6 kilometres at 7.7% – the riders head to Le Motte, followed by a 9-kilometre descent to the finish line.

2. Giro 2025 Favourites stage 17: Raising hell on the Mortirolo

   The route of stage 17 is not particularly long, but it does take in two massive climbs. The finale isn’t overly demanding, and with the Giro ablaze, there’s every chance we’ll witness a fierce battle between the GC contenders.

3. Giro 2025 KOM Classification: Fortunato extends lead

   Lorenzo Fortunato extends his lead in the mountain classification in stage 17 of the Giro. He now has nearly three times as many points as the nearest challenger — his teammate Christian Scaroni.

4. Giro 2025 Points Classification: Pedersen goes purple again

   Not that it makes much of a difference anymore, but Mads Pedersen grabs the first intermediate sprint in stage 17 and pads his lead in the points competition.
