Giro 2024 stage 9

1. Giro 2024: Kooij wins in Naples, Pogacar still in pink

   Jhonathan Narváez attacks inside the final 8 kilometres. He comes close, but is caught in the dying metres of the race before Olav Kooij outguns Jonathan Milan on the line. Tadej Pogacar stays in the lead of the general classification.

2. Giro 2024 Route stage 9: Naples - Naples

   Sunday 12 May - The 9th stage of the Giro d'Italia takes the riders from Avezzano to Naples. The 214 kilometres route is predominantly flat, although a number of short hills in the last 30 kilometres throw down a challenge to pure sprinters.

3. Giro 2024 Favourites stage 9: For fast finishers #3

   At 214 kilometres, the 9th Giro-stage is quite long. The route is flat until the finale includes a number of uphill sections. Not ideal for pure sprinters, but it does add some excitement to an otherwise predictable race.
