1. Sprint triumh Groves, Leknessund still leader

   Kaden Groves wins the sprint in the crash-marred finale of the 5th stage on the Giro d'Italia. The Aussi outguns Jonathan Milan and Mads Pedersen on the line, while Andreas Leknessund stays in the overall race lead.

2. Giro 2023 Route stage 5: Atripalda - Salerno

   Wednesday 10 May - Stage 5 on the Giro d'Italia sets off from Atripalda to finish in Salerno. The race is 172 kilometres long and takes in an elevation gain of 2,400 metres.

3. Giro 2023 Favourites stage 5: For fast men#2

   Although it's far from flat, the route of the 5th stage on the Giro looks enticing for the sprinters. Virtually all positive elevation gain is concentrated in the first part of the race, while the last 35 kilometres are completely flat.

4. Giro 2023: Pinot cements KOM lead

   Stage 5 on the Giro takes in two climbs for KOM points. Thibaut Pinot joins the breakaway and takes full points on the first climb, Passo Serra, before he sits up to wait for the bunch.

5. Giro 2023: Milan still in points jersey

   Jonathan Milan finishes in second in Salerno to keep the ciclame jersey, while stage winner Kaden Groves sits in second - just 1 second behind.
