1. Giro 2023: Sprint triumph Ackermann, Thomas retains pink, Geoghegan Hart crashes out

   The longest stage of the Giro d'Italia comes down to a bunch sprint. Pascal Ackermann powers to victory, while Geraint Thomas retains th pink jersey. Tao Geoghegan Hart, third on GC, crashes out with 70 kilometres to go.

   Wednesday 17 May - Stage 11 is the longest of the entire Giro, but not the hardest. At 219 kilometres, the riders travel from Camaiore to a likely bunch sprint in the streets of Tortona.

3. Giro 2023 Favourites stage 11: For fast men#3

   The elevation gain on the roads from Camaiore to Tortona is 2,100 metres. This is spread out over a route of 219 kilometres, so that should be doable for the fast men. Moreover, the finale is flat.

   Veljko Stojnic reaches the summit of the Passo del Bracco, Colla di Boas and Passo della Castagnola in first postion, while Davide Bais retains in the lead of the mountain classification.
