1. Giro 2022: Kämna wins at Mount Etna, López takes pink jersey

   Lennard Kämna and Juan Pedro López are the remaining attackers from the breakaway on Mount Etna. The German bests the Spaniard in the two-up sprint, while the Spaniard moves into the overall race lead.

2. Giro 2022 Route stage 4: Avola - Etna

   Tuesday 10 May - The Giro traverses Sicily to finish on Mount Etna. The 172 kilometres race starts in Avola and features an elevation gain of 3,500 metres. The finish climb adds up to 22.8 kilometres and averages 6.6%.

3. Giro 2022 Favourites stage 4: King of Mount Etna

   The climbers have their first chance to shine on the fourth day of action. The Giro finishes on Mount Etna after a finish climb of almost 23 kilometres long.

4. Giro 2022: Kämna new KOM leader

   Stage winner Lennard Kämna takes 40 points on Mount Etna and moves into the lead in the KOM competition.

5. Giro 2022: Van der Poel keeps purple jersey

   The top 7 in the points competition remains unchanged on Mount Etna. So Mathieu van der Poel is still the leader. As he lost the pink jersey it will be the first day in the maglia ciclamino when the peloton heads for Messina on stage 5.
