   Jakob Fuglsang wins the 6th stage of the Virtual Giro almost 1 minute ahead of Alessandro Pessot with Alexey Lutsenko in third. Katia Ragusa takes the spoils in the women's race

   The virtual Giro d'Italia featured both men's teams and women's teams. All teams were allowed two entries per stage.

3. Giro 2020 - virtual: Route

   The virtual Giro d'Italia was a race with an elevation gain of almost 5,000 metres. Which was spread over seven short stages that added up to 167.8 kilometres. The virtual version of the Italian Grand Tour served six finales of the road race.

4. Giro 2020 - virtual: Robert Gesink wins uphill finish stage 5

   Robert Gesink wins the 5th stage of the virtual giro ahead of Jakob Fuglsang and Steven Kruijswijk, while Erica Magnaldi takes the spoils in the women's race

5. Giro 2020 - virtual: Wright and Longo Borghini win stage 4

   Young Fred Wright outclimbed Gorka Izagirre with 2 minutes and Rafael Valls with 3 minutes in the 4th stage of the virtual Giro. Elisa Longo Borghini was the first women after the 15.5 kilometres finish climb to Madonna di Campiglio.

6. Giro 2020 - virtual: Domenico Pozzovivo wins stage 3

   Domenico Pozzovivo powers to victory in the 3rd stage of the virtual Giro. Alessandro Pessot and Davide Martinelli round out the men's podium, while Ellen van Dijk takes the spoils in the women's race.

7. Giro 2020 - virtual: Matteo Spreafico powers to win in stage 2

   27-Year old Matteo Spreafico wins the 2nd stage of the virtual Giro, a race of 32.7 kilometres with an elevation gain of 980 metres. The Italian outperforms Omar Fraile and Sonny Colbrelli. Gloria Rodriguez is fastest in the women's race.

8. Giro 2020 - virtual: Lutsenko wins 1st stage

   Alexey Lutsenko wins the 1st stage of the virtual Giro d'Italia almost 4 minutes ahead of Elia Viviani. Davide Martinelli finishes in third, while young Fred Wright takes fourth place. Elisa Longo Borghini takes the spoils in the women's race.
