1. Giro 2019: Sprint win Ackermann in stage 2, Roglic stays in lead

   At 205 kilometres, the 2nd stage of the Giro features a lumpy middle section, while the finale is played out on the flat. Ackermann sprints to victory ahead of Viviani and Ewan, while Roglic retains the maglia rosa.

2. Giro 2019 Route stage 2: Bologna - Fucecchio

   Sunday 12 May - Following the ITT on the Giro's first day of action the race leaves Bologna in the 2nd stage. The route goes south to finish in Fucecchio, while the distance is 205 kilometres.

3. Giro 2019 Favourites stage 2: First fast finishers showdown

   The sprinters ought to have two opportunities to shine on the first two road stages in line on the Giro d'Italia. If they survive the steep Montalbano climb before the line, nothing should thwart a fast finishers showdown.
