   Nans Peters wins the 17th stage in the Giro solo-style. The Frenchman is the strongest rider in a breakaway of eighteen men, while Richard Carapaz and Mikel Landa gain time on their rivals in the last climb.

2. Giro 2019 Route stage 17: Commezzadura - Anterselva

   Wednesday 29 May - The 17th stage of the Giro d'Italia travels from Commezzadura in the Val di Sole to Anterselva. The route amounts to 181 kilometres, while the last 5 kilometres slope at 8.5%.
