A lot of climbing in the 150 kilometres between Chiavari and La Spezia, resulting in nothing short of a spectacle. Young Italian Davide Formolo is strongest and Simon Clarke takes the pink jersey.

Tuesday, May 12, 2015 - Just like previous stage, the 4th stage in the 2015 Giro is peppered with some climbing. The 150 kilometres stage takes the riders on hilly terrain from Chiavari to La Spezia, and they call it a day with a local round containing a tough climb at 10 kilometres from the finish line.

Giro 2015: Stage 4 Favourites – Puncheurs with descending skills

Stage 4 is a hilly stage with no flat metre in sight. Since the last 10 kilometres are downhill after a short steep climb this could be a chance for the puncheurs with good descending skills.
