Giro d'Italia 2014 stage 5

1. Giro 2014: Diego Ulissi best on first uphill finish

   The first climbs on this year's Giro produced a thrilling finale as the big GC men showed themselves for the first time. It was 24-year old Italian Diego Ulissi however, who outsprinted the bunch of tired climbers. Michael Matthews keeps his GC lead.

2. Giro 2014 Route stage 5: Tarente – Viggiano

   Wednesday, May 14th – The first hills loom in stage 5, a 203 kilometre ride from Tarente to Viggiano. Time for the first of 9 summit finishes....

3. Giro 2014: Stage 5 Favourites: Climber with the fastest uphill sprint

   The real climbing starts in this year's Giro with a 7 kilometre drag to the finish line. Suits the more explosive rider who can jump from a group in the last couple of kilometres.
