Critérium du Dauphiné 2014
The 66th edition of the Critérium du Dauphiné will be held from the 8th until the 15th of June 2014. The race takes place in the Dauphiné region in southeastern France.
The race is billed as the last big showdown before the Tour de France, even sometimes including climbs or time trials from the upcoming Tour. The winners of the last two editions, Bradley Wiggins and Chris Froome, went on to win La Grande Boucle as well.

Stage 7 - Westra wins, Contador takes yellow
Lieuwe Westra won the 7th stage of the Criterium du Dauphine, fighting back after being dropped earlier on the last climb of the day. Alberto Contador attacked from the group of favourites and Froome either couldn't follow, or made his decision too late. The Spaniard took 20 seconds and moves into the leader's jersey.Read more »
Stage 6- Bakelants beats Westra in 2-up sprint
Jan Bakelants beats Lieuwe Westra into Poisy today after the 2 had proved the strongest of the day's breakaway. Race leader Chris Froome went down in a crash and had cuts on his arm and shoulder but it appears to be nothing serious.Read more »
Stage 5 - Spilak makes it 2 in a row for Katusha
Simon Spilak won the 5th stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné and the 2nd in a row for Katusha after Trofimovs victory yesterday. Chris Froome remains in the lead but had to work hard for it today after attacks from both Alberto Contador and Wilco Kelderman.Read more »
Stage 4 - Trofimov escapes to victory
Juri Trofimov won stage 4 of the Criterium du Dauphine after attacking his breakaway companions with 18 kilometres remaining. Chris Froome remains in yellow after finishing in the main group.Read more »
