Amstel Gold Race 2015
The 50th edition of the Amstel Gold Race was held on April 19th, 2015. The tangle of narrow roads, dozens of hills and constant twisting and turning resulted in Michal Kwiatkowski outsprinting a small group of puncheurs after the closing climb up Cauberg. Alejandro Valverde was second, Michael Matthews third.

The 50th edition of the Amstel Gold Race takes the riders in 258 kilometres over 34 short steep hills. It all boils down to the last climb up Cauberg. Gilbert attacks with Michael Matthews on his wheel, but at the top a small group sprints for the win. Kwiatkowski is fastest, besting Valverde and Matthews.
