Paris - Nice 2016 Route prologue: Conflans-St.-Honoraire - Conflans-St.-Honoraire

Paris-Nice 2016 prologue Sunday, March 6, 2016 – Editon 74 of Paris-Nice opens with a 6.1 kilometres prologue in the streets of Conflans-Saint-Honoraire, a suburb of Paris. No mountains around, yet a short steep ramp halfway can break your rhythm.

Conflans-Saint-Honorine lies at around thirty kilometres northwest of Paris. Nicolas Roche was born here. In fact, the Sky-pilot is set to start in Paris-Nice 2016.

The route is mostly flat, but halfway a short and steep ramp bids the riders welcome. Moreover, the final stretch is a false flat.

Last year. Michal Kwiatkowski won the prologue in the same time as Rohan Dennis with Tony Martin finishing third.
