Tour of Flanders 2018 - women

Tour of Flanders 2014Anna van der Breggen won the 15th edition of the Tour of Flanders for women in stellar style. She soloed to victory after attacking at Kruisberg with 30 kilometres to go. Amy Pieters sprinted to second place, Annemiek van Vleuten finished in third. So the Dutch did a clean sweep. The women’s Tour of Flanders 2018 was played out on the 1st of April. Sunday, 1 April 2017 – At 150.9 kilometers, the women’s Tour of Flanders takes in eleven hills and five cobbled sectors. The finale is a perfect copy of recent editions, meaning a series of sharp and often cobbled climbs in rapid succession. The last 13.2 kilometres are on the flat.
