Race report
The riders set off in rainy conditions and Jumbo-Visma sets a high pace from the start. A lot of riders are dropped, while Bauke Mollema attacks just after the Côte de Levens.

Andrey Amador, Omar Fraile, Stefan Küng, Alex Kirsch, Gorka Izagirre, Søren Kragh Andersen, Guillaume Martin, Connor Swift and Fabio Felline follow the move, but they are caught on the second climb of the day, the Côte de Chateauneuf.

The race speeds up on the Côte de Peille and only Wout van Aert, Primoz Roglic, Daniel Felipe Martínez, Nairo Quintana and Simon Yates remain at the front.

Martínez punctures with 32 kilometres remaining and he winds up between the chasers.

Yates attacks from the lead group on the Col d’Èze to open a 25 seconds gap. Van Aert struggles on the steep ramps, but he survives to help Roglic when the climb flattens out in the second part. Quintana is dropped.

The Jumbo-Visma duo sets off in pursuit after descending into Èze, scraping off second by second, and eventually crossing the line 9 seconds after the Briton. Which is enough for Roglic to win Paris-Nice for the first time in his career. Yates and Martínez round out the final podium.
