Race report
Pierre-Roger Latour, Benjamin King and Romain Combaud break from the gun and race to a maximum lead of 8 minutes. The two French riders, Latour and Combaud, are the last escapees and they are caught in the final kilometre.
In the sprint Sam Bennett outpowered each and everyone, besting Kristoff with a bike length and claiming his first-ever WorldTour victory.
