Race report
Sofi De Vuyst and Antri Christoforou are the first attackers. The Flemish rider is the rider at the Colle del Lys before the two are reeled in on the Po-Plain. Kelly Van den Steen and Romy Kasper go on the counter-attack to open up a gap of 3 minutes.
With 6 kilometres remaining the two are brought back. Ensuing attacks are neutralized before Marianne Vos powers to victory in the uphill sprint to the line.
While GC contenders Annemiek van Vleuten and Lucinda Brand finish in second and third to take time bonuses, Kasia Niewiadoma stays in the overall lead.
